Since December of 2003, Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. has partnered with a wide variety of groups and campaigns. We're best known for pioneering innovative get out the vote strategies in 2004 and 2006 elections with MoveOn. org political action, and raising millions of dollars in small donor contributions for the Democratic National Committee

In 2009 and 2010 we are working with a variety of organizations on some of the most timely and urgent issues facing American citizens.

Current Campaigns

Founded in 1961, Amnesty International is a Nobel Prize-winning grassroots human rights organization with over 2.5 million members worldwide. Amnesty International's research and action is focused on preventing and ending discrimination, unjust imprisonment, torture and executions and defending freedom of thought, expression and identity. Current campaigns focus on, among other things, stopping violence against women, seeking justice in the "war on terror," and promoting healthcare as a human right. Grassroots Campaigns staff has been working to expand Amnesty International's member base since August 2008.

American Civil Liberties Union works in the courts, legislatures and communities to defend the rights and liberties guaranteed to all by the U.S. Constitution. They were founded in 1920, and now have an on-the-ground presence in every state. Current priorities include seeing to the final closure of Guantanamo, ending warrantless wiretapping, reforming the Patriot Act, preserving reproductive freedom, and fighting for reproductive rights. Grassroots Campaigns canvassers are building public support to stop right-wing politicians from abusing their power by imposing their personal definitions of morality on their constituents.

Oxfam America is an international relief and development agency that fights poverty, hunger, and injustice. Oxfam America does their work by partnering with local organizations to find and implement the most effective, appropriate, and enduring solutions. Oxfam America is committed to expanding their life-saving local work, but because millions of the world's poor people are paralyzed by systemic economic barriers they are also taking the fight to the global-political level, and changing the way development work is done around the world. Starting in Spring 2010, Grassroots Campaigns will be taking Oxfam America's message to the streets of Boston, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, with more cities to come this summer.

Equality California is California's largest statewide LGBT rights organization. After the passage of Prop 8 barred same-sex couples from marriage in November 2008, EQCA partnered with Grassroots Campaigns to generate support  for the freedom to marry. From Sacramento to San Diego, our staff has had conversations with  more than half a million Californians who are eager to bring fairness back to their state.

For over 144 years the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has been dedicated to guarding the lives of those who have no voice - animals who would otherwise have no one to look after their welfare. The ASPCA's programs focus on helping animals in three ways: serving victims of animal cruelty, serving the at-risk population, and serving pet owners. Since fall 2009, Grassroots Campaigns staff has worked to build public support to expand the ASPCA's efforts to build a more human future for America's animals.

Save the Children's mission is to make lasting, positive change in the lives of disadvantaged children. It was founded in the U.S. in 1932, and remains the only anti-poverty group of its size that does not have any political or religous affiliations. Save the Children field staff provide education, nutrition and healthcare through community-based programs in 137 countries and, for 2008, put 94% of all expenditures toward program services. Grassroots Campaigns canvassers working in 18 cities nationwide, have recruited caring people to sponsor children since 2007.

**Save the Children is an independent organization and is not religiously or politically aligned. Save the Children has no direct affilitaion with the organizations Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. partners with.**
